About Leah Stapleton | My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent Realtor: integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a high-quality professional network that is ready to work hard and play later, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
In my experience as a real estate professional since 2003, and in my previous work in escrow for ten years and as a loan officer for five years, I've always found that providing the very best service is essential while working for my clients. This means keeping myself accessible after hours, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your requests and needs no matter the time of day.
This “client first” philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. Not only do I bring a deep experience across all facets of real estate in the Bay Area, but I also stay current with all of the latest trade technologies in order to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently and with a stronger flow of information and partnering between me and my clients.
When I am not working (with my phone still by my side), learning something in real estate, networking, or helping a client clean up a property, I am spending time in my South Berkeley home with my husband of 26 years. We also hang out and play with our extremely fast Chihuahua fur baby now that our adult son no longer lives at home. The neighborhood kids say she has wheels! LOL! Often times I am sitting sipping tea or having a nice wine with friends and family enjoying all types of world music while conversing, laughing and playing games.
